Flora Olomouc Exhibition Grounds
Flora Olomouc Exhibition Grounds were established in 1966 under the name Olomouc Exhibition Garden and were later renamed to Flora Olomouc in 1970. Since 2000, Flora Olomouc Exhibition Grounds are a joint-stock company with 100 percent property share of the municipality.
The main fair events, which have gradually reached the current number of fifteen, are comprised of the traditional flower exhibitions, the exposition of woody ornamentals, fruits and vegetables. Flora Olomouc Exhibition Grounds organize others fairs and exhibitions from the branch of tourism, the building industry, interior accessories and books.
The Exhibition Grounds have a total area of 4 395 m2 and are located in the Smetana Gardens near the historic centre of the town. The Exhibition Grounds manage 47 hectares of the town's parks.
